Chrysler vehicles

Welcome friends and Chrysler Enthusiast to another monthly newsletter, it is great to see some new people at our Club meetings again.

As promised the end of the Auction is now the last Friday of the Month today 28th June 2019, the winner of the bid is Mario Member 820. I did have a Club Member tell me that he would go as high as $200 but I cannot accept "I will go as high as". I do need a bid member’s and the highest bid was $150 so I have to accept that one.

So, Mario you can collect the Swan at the next club meeting bring your cash. The funds will go to the XMAS Party for all club members that turn up.

Rose has another Item that she is considering to put to the Auction but she has not told me just yet.

The run for the Drought relief

I could not attend due to a crisis in NZ with the family I was over there for nine days lets hope someone took photos and can write a few words on the day.

My Question

For some time now I have been the source of information on where to find, how to get and who to see, to get things done in the Chrysler fraternity. Well now it is my turn to ask - I know we have an Auto Electrician or two in the club so maybe they can answer this for me. My 2005 Pt Cruiser yesterday boiled it Billy - yes got to the red on the temp gauge, so today I started it up to check on the reason for this anomaly.

It turns out that the thermo fans are not working. Anyone know if there is a fuse that needs replacing or a relay, and if so, how do I get to it?

Next Club Run

The next club run, captive reader, I believe is to the House of Long Pockets and the Wendy lady the Presidents day run. We do need numbers as Bruce needs to order plenty of the tucker and I can get the drinks.

All Club members are welcome so even if you do not know the former Treasurer and the Wendy lady both being lifetime members and have done so much work for the club in the past, they would love to see us all and do bring your Classic Chrysler and not your plastic daily drive.

There is plenty of parking and will be much merriment on the day.

I little bit of trivia - NZ does not have club rego (SIV) as all car rego’s are $160 per year four cylinder or V8. Did I mention that the Motion Lotion is selling for $2.20 per litre in Christchurch?

I see the web page is up and running well done Brenda it should not be to long before we have our membership happening as well.

So, let us get out there, support the club on the runs, and have the fun that we all planned to have when we started with the Club.
