Chrysler vehicles

Welcome friends and Chrysler Enthusiast to another monthly newsletter, it is great to see some new people at our Club meetings again.

It was good to see a new member rejoin. Well, as members coming to the club meetings again great to see and talk to, just as a car club should be like talking cars and getting solutions to repairs and fixes.

As always something about Chrysler EXPO our next EXPO meeting will not be until June this year as we have all organised it will be just a reminder to traders and exhibitors as well the public to let them know Chrysler EXPO will be on in September 2021.

This does not mean that we will not need volunteers to help get the Sept Issue of Chrysler EXPO up and running as we will, so if you can spare some time to help out before the Monthly Club meeting please do show up and put your information into the meeting to make the 2021 Sept Chrysler EXPO the best yet.

The Club run to the infamous jail Boggo Road I am told was a success as Rose and I was unable to go on this run we had a planned motorhome trail period booked as we have never done his type of thing before we got together with some friends and went camping it took us all weekend to do absolutely nothing and it was tiring but we survived. The upcoming Club meeting will be presided over by our President of Vice – Vice president Barry Ralph, as we have things planned some time ago so take care of him at the club meeting. Check out the planned club runs as it looks like a good selection of places have been sort so set your calendar for these dates and meet up with club members it is a great way to new club members and catch up with some members you have not seen in a while.

Now to the Australian problem at hand the COVID lockdown in Victoria I hope all of you stay safe and maintain the social distancing, I also hope that you have not booked your trips to Victoria as it could delay your trip home and that can be very inconvenient for all concerned. Now, something a bit more at home, I have noticed in the last issue of our Newsletter there are some new places added for the sanctioned runs check them out if you have a place that would be of interest to the other club members just let the Secretary know and he will check it out to see if it can get into the monthly newsletter.

Do not forget that if your club membership runs out and you do not renew it your Club Rego (SIV) Rego is invalid and as such you have no insurance. One case comes to mind A club member in his (SIV) registered vehicle was driving along Deception Bay Road working yes doing his daily work he was involved in a car crash at one of the sets of traffic lights the club member was not in the wrong but it was an (SIV) registered vehicle which gave no insurance or Rego that cost more than I can even afford to think about. So please remember that little story it is true as the club member rang me and asked me if I can help out with a letter saying that he was on his way someplace, to help with the fact that the vehicle was on (SIV) Rego.

I am getting close to the end of the page, stay safe come to the meetings and join in the conversations on how to fix your pride and joy, and well may just find out something about your pride and joy to help you out.

So, let us get out there, support the club on the runs, and have the fun that we all planned to have when we started with the Club.
