Chrysler vehicles

Welcome friends and Chrysler Enthusiasts to another monthly newsletter, as always it was great to see some new people at our Club meetings again and was good to see a new member rejoin.

Chrysler EXPO was cancelled NOT due to Covid-19, but the weather! The oval was so wet with long grass and the people coming to display their attractions also cancelled due to the oval being so wet.

The work that the EXPO committee did as well the hard work and commitment that our Secretary showed in the organising of our annual 'Show n Shine' Doug, is worth more than a mention. Doug deserves the accolades of the Club for his tireless work and organising commitment.

THANK YOU, DOUG, AND WELL DONE.

That is not to say that the Chrysler EXPO for 2021 is gone but only postponed. Our new date is now the 5th of September 2021 - Father’s Day.

The work everyone had done including the Club Members who organised to get PPE equipment for the volunteers for the March Expo, will be ready for the September event of the Chrysler EXPO.

The drinks and food ordered, signs and the banner installation all had to be cancelled or removed as the weather got hold of everything over the month of March and stopped Chrysler EXPO 2021.

This does not mean that we will not need volunteers to help get the September event of Chrysler EXPO up and running. If you know you can spare some time to help out before the Monthly Club meetings please do show up and put forward your information at the meetings to help make the 2021 Sept Chrysler EXPO the best yet.

Our next event is the Presidents Day run. It has now been cancelled for Brian and Wendy’s place due to a request from Brian. So it looks like it may be at the Club rooms - we just need to get a date sorted.

Now for my holiday complaint! As you would have noticed the cost of the motion lotion that our classic cars require to feed on goes up every holiday and then after the holidays it may go down just some of the rise.

My main complaint if each of us chose a fuel company to refuse to use and every time you need fuel, you boycott that fuel company then maybe they would get the message.

I have for the past 35 years refused to buy fuel from one of our local servos as the fuel company closed down a local servo and gave the business to their friends. I have not bought fuel from the company in the 35 years and that included the USA and NZ and the UK. But that is my bitch with that fuel company!

Well captive reader I am getting close to the end of the page. Stay safe, come to the meetings, and join in the conversations on how to fix your pride and joy and you may just find out something about your pride and joy to help you out.

So, let us get out there, support the club on the runs, and have the fun that we all planned to have when we started with the Club.
