Chrysler vehicles

Welcome friends and Chrysler Enthusiast to another monthly newsletter, it is great to see some new people at our Club meetings again. It was good to see a new member rejoin.

This is the first newsletter for the year for the Chrysler Owners Club QLD inc, the best part of this month after seeing that our membership is getting sorted out and our newsletter circulation is growing, was the warm weather that I came home to after holidaying.

Christmas day was a tropical 3deg - yes captive reader - a tropical 3deg. New years eve was just as balmy it was great to get back to the QLD summer weather. Let me explain - Christmas Day was spent walking through Vienna, Austria sight seeing and freezing then for Christmas Day dinner that is the evening meal dear member, after which we were treated to the sounds of the Vienna symphony (just seven of the orchestra) it was just awesome astounding brilliant. This was in a Monastery of over 400 years old building. I could go on but I must continue. We went along the River Danube for the 11 days and the history and scenery was spectacular. We got to Budapest (pronounced Budapesh). This was our New Years stop over we were treated to a 300-year-old castle at which we had dinner in a 300-year-old castle it was just phenomenal. Well enough of my Christmas away from QLD.

At the writing of this I am not able to attend the Australia day run but if things change then yes, I will be there. The price of fuel in Europe is about that of NZ just over two dollars (Aus) a litre. The climate change that we are having shoved down our necks every day by some greenie, we saw in Germany and Austria hundreds and hundreds of acers or solar farms and they are huge. Each farm was acres upon acres.

The run to Ormiston State School was well attended we provided seven cars, it was a great start to the year, lets hope the rest of the runs are as well attended as this was. I hope all of you have a great new year and may it be a profitable one as well.

So, let us get out there, support the club on the runs, and have the fun that we all planned to have when we started with the Club.
