Welcome friends and Chrysler Enthusiast to another monthly newsletter, it is great to see some new people at our Club meetings again. The web site for the club is moving along quite nicely Brenda is doing a wonderful job the committee has been playing with it to see how it works and any difficulties if any that need to be sorted. The Membership Officer position will stay as it is for now Paul doing the job until the Club database has been updated so that it is working and user friendly. That is, I am not besmirching any body it will be better for all concerned that once the Club Database is updated then we will only have one lot of learning to do.
The Club has signed a new lease with the Owners of the hall we use for our club meetings as well the shed for all our club belongings is well and truly on the way. Whilst Doug is off wondering the planet Bruce will be taking over the contact point for the Shed works I understand the cost is about the $8,000.00 and with that we get a long period of rent free for the Shed until it is paid off then the rent will start but at what stage or how much I will have to find out. and I will be taking over the computer contact point with Brenda whilst the very busy Doug is OS.
Mike & Tina are off to the USA for a well earnt holiday so keep an eye out for photos and a story.
EXPO the ASMF will be judging as usual the ASMF are also sponsoring this years Chrysler EXPO as it is the 30th Chrysler EXPO. On the EXPO subject we need people to help out on the Saturday before Chrysler EXPO setting up and, on the day, helping out to keep it running smothery, and with the clean up afterwards. It was also decided the Chrysler EXPO committee should try out the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the club rooms before the Monthly Club Meeting, that way more people can attend and maybe get more of an insight of what is done and how they can help out. David Sutton is doing a great job in attracting Traders as well as sponsors.
On the 19th May we are off to the Maritime Museum at South bank we meet at the Club rooms at 9:00am for a 9:30am depart. Mario has said he will be paying for lunch so as Bruce can not make the club run this time yours truly is keeping tally of who is coming, as we are providing lunch I need numbers so that I can have plenty of the food and drinks for all.so far I have nine people maybe five cars so please let me know ASAP RSVP 15TH May call ME on 0414 809 498
