Chrysler vehicles

Welcome friends and Chrysler Enthusiast to another Presidents message for 2017, it is great to see some new people at our Club meetings again. The club run for this month looks like it is a good one. this it is run to the Rivermill at Mt Nathan we all meet at the Loganhyper Dome at 8:30 for a 9:00 am depart so be there it looks like a great day for it. Whilst I write this so let’s hope I have not jinxed it for us on the day. I see that Chrysler EXPO is on a different Sunday next year so that we can get a better turn out for the Chrysler Family of fine sheet metal.

It was suggested at the last months Club meeting that we get a group started to get things done for Chrysler EXPO it was also suggested that Doug our Secretary take charge and collate gather delegate tasks to club members, that want to help out it is not as bad as it sounds as I said at the club meeting if you can only take on one task that is one task less that the group needs to worry about. As for the past few years it has been left up to a hand full of club members to do.

Chrysler EXPO is the largest Chrysler static display of Chrysler Family of fine sheet metal in the south-eastern corner of QLD if not the state. What is needed is new people to help out and not only give new ideas but to help put them into action, so come on get in and help out.

Now to another topic of discussion during the meeting last month the library the VACC have informed us The Chrysler Owners Club that the VACC want the library empty of all our stuff so that they can get it cleaned up painted and have new cupboards put in there so that all clubs can have the same space and not one club have more space than another club.

The weather is still warm to hot and a great time to take out the Olé girl get her oils moving and her fuel pumping through the carby.

If you have club Rego call Bruce and get involved in the club runs as that is what they are there for, not only that you get out and about in your pride and joy showing off give Bruce some ideas of places that you would like to go to.

If you pride and joy is off the road getting some well earnt maintenance, then you can still bring your daily driver to the club runs. It is as much about driving your pride and joy as it is about getting to know the other club members and meeting new members.

Whilst you are out and about on these club runs you will learn so much more about the maintenance and the place to find some very hard to find parts.

So, let us get out there, support the club on the runs, and have the fun that we all planned to have when we started with the Club.

Until next time we meet stay safe on the roads.
