The show n shine will be held on Sunday 6th May from 9am till 1pm at Pialba State Primary School on the corner of Beach Road and Alice Street in Pialba. Entry forms available on the Facebook page. Shannons Tamworth Motor Show, NSW 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The Rotary Club of Tamworth West is proud to present the 8th annual Shannons Tamworth Motor Show. This is an indoor event showcasing a wide range of vehicles including motorcycles.
Exhibits are mostly by invitation, however other entry applications are invited. Holden will be our central display including some rare and interesting cars. A dinner will be held on the Saturday evening with Phil Brock being our Guest Speaker. Show times are 9am - 5pm Saturday, 9am - 3pm Sunday. Spectator entry $10, children 12 and under free. Full onsite catering by Rotary.

May 5-6Autumn Historic Warwick, Morgan Park Raceway, Warwick 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM The Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland presents Autumn Historic Warwick Motor Race Meeting at Morgan Park Raceway. This is an annual touring car event featuring historic touring cars, sports sedans and touring regularity plus historic sports cars and formula cars. Time Warp Festival at Ricks Garage And Diner, 14-16 Margaret Street, Palmwoods.
Time Warp Festival is being held after a hugely successful Time Warp Festival in 2017, we are back to bring you more. Palmwoods comes alive with the sound of Rockabilly music, hotrods and motorbikes as we shut down the main street and Ricks Garage becomes the backdrop to showcase all that is Kustom Kulture. Hot rods, bikes, pin ups, market stalls, bands, food, kids corner and plenty of giveaways. Gates open to the public 10am - 10pm. Gold coin donation. Registrations open for cars and bikes.

The Lockyer Swap Meet and Vintage Car Display at the Laidley Showgrounds.
Entry via Cooper Street. Set up will be on Saturday. Sellers may turn up on Saturday afternoon to set up and camp overnight. Sellers are responsible for the security of their own goods. The Wide Bay Rodders Show n Shine is being held at Pialba State Primary School from 9am to 1pm. Show cars enter from 8am off Beach Road, public gates open from 9am. Hot rods, classics, Australian and American muscle, vintage motorbikes, customs all welcome. Show cars and bikes $5, passengers gold coin each. Public entry gold coin donation. Public parking at Hervey Bay High School on Old Maryborough Road. Public entry via High School parking area or Beach Road gate. All proceeds going to assist local children in need.

Rainbow Beach Sports Club presents their Hot Rod & Rockabilly Rumble.
Music, dancing, cars, bikes and good old fashioned fun for the whole family. Day time fun with a few rockabilly and rock and roll bands and dancers to accompany some serious classic cars, hot rods and choppers that will have you drooling. BYO chairs. 11am start in the Rainbow Beach Sports Club Car park. We also have free camping available for all who register, become a stall holder or musician. Palmwoods State School are hosting the Palmwoods Car Festival. We host this as a major fundraiser for our school. All vehicles and clubs welcome, sports to cruisers, muscle to classic, Aussie to imports. Set to be a fun filled family day with live bands, food and drink, stalls, raffles, prizes, kids entertainment and rides, trophies on offer. Public gold coin entry per person from 10am. Yank Tanks Display, Masters Coomera, Corner Days Road & Old Coach Road, Upper Coomera. 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Display your American classic, muscle car, lowrider or street rod or just check out all the cool rides at Yank Tanks Display, second Saturday night of each month. This is a free event, hosted by Cadillac Lasalle Club Qld and everyone is welcome. Event rules - Please don't touch the cars, 5 kmh speed limit in the carpark, no alcohol, put your rubbish in a bin or take it with you. These rules exist so we can continue to hold this event. It only takes one idiot to spoil it for everyone. Don't be that idiot.

May 13A chance for owners of vintage, veteran, classics, muscle cars, modern muscle and specialty vehicles to get together and show them off and swap stories, shoot the breeze and enjoy each other’s company and meet new friends. The general public is welcome to come along and checkout the cars. Coffee and breakfast can be purchased on site at the Cooloola Cove Takeaway. A cruise will take place at 10:15 to somewhere interesting for those who care to participate. Previous runs have been to Helltown Hot Rods, The Imbil Hotel, Poona, the Kin Kin Hotel. The 4th Annual Southern Cross Charities Laidley Show n Shine is being held at the Laidley Showgrounds in Hayes Street. Gates open at 2pm and all entries to be registered by 4pm. Hot food and drinks. Public entry gold coin donation. $10 vehicle, bike, pinup entry, market stalls $10, trade stalls $50. Money raised on the day goes to support Orphans in Lesotho. Info Barbara 0412 140 239.

The Fine Iron Rod & Custom Club of Ipswich are holding their 25th annual Hot Rod Classic Car & Bike Show Swap Meet at the Ebbw Vale Soccer Grounds. Swap meet sites $5, setup 5am and public entry 6am. The 20th anniversary of the David Hack Classic Meet is being held at Toowoomba City Aerodrome. Presenting a collection of classic vehicles, both new and old including vintage cars and trucks, hot rods, military vehicles, motorbikes, classic cars and aircraft (the famous Zuccoli Aircraft collection). The meet brings together an exotic mix of aircraft and vehicles you would be unlikely to see in any other venue. Exhibitors from 7.30am, public from 8.45 and finishes at 2.30pm. Public dmission $15 per person, family 2 adults + teenagers $40, exhibitors $10 per vehicle. Children under 12 free. Free parking. Trophies awarded at 1.30pm. Food and beverages available.

The 4th annual Motors in May in Maryborough. Show and Shine offers arguably the best trophies on the coast with 12 categories, 6 car, 6 bike voted on by the people attending. Raffles with cash prizes, sausage sizzle, markets plus much more. Registration from 7.30am, $5 per vehicle until 11.30am, presentations around 12ish. All proceeds going to the Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary.

QLD Cruising's Pride and Joy Car Show is being held at Paradise Country Parklands. Pride & Joy Car Show is open to all automotive motoring enthusiasts, all makes and models welcome, new or old, custom or stock - hot rod, vintage, customs, muscle, classic, JDM, Euro, exotics, American or Aussie. Other features are food vendors/sausage sizzle/coffee, automotive trade vendor stands, live DJ, photographers and videographers, QLD Cruising merchandise. Admire a nice variety of cars, catch up with friends and chat to like minded motoring enthusiasts. 17 Show N Shine Trophies to be won. I'm getting in touch regarding an awesome offer for hot rod and classic car drivers at the upcoming Red Thunder Air Show. Drivers or riders who display their hot rod, classic car or motorcycle at Red Thunder receive free entry for 2 people to the Air Show! The Red Thunder Air Show is being held at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield, near Esk, 90 minutes from Brisbane.This is a perfect opportunity for a club run. As you know, aviation enthusiasts are revheads at heart and in addition to the action packed air activities, the ground display will feature hot rods and classic cars shining alongside vintage aircraft and military displays, plus the stunning Miss Red Thunder Pinup Parade. For weekend trippers, there is camping available on site, food trucks, licensed bar and live music from West Texas Crude and DJ Swingabilly Ray on Saturday evening. Preferred vehicles are pre-1975 and vehicles must remain for the day to be eligible for the free tickets (set up by 9am, depart after 4pm). Big Boys Toys Expo Rockhampton will be held at the Rockhampton Turf Club. Trophies and cash for car awards, open to classics, hot rods, drag cars and modern. Rockhampton Big Boys Toys Expo - The Weekend Warrior! Come and visit for cars, motorbikes, jetski, caravans, campers, trailers, fishing gear, camping gear, drones, and everything that revs and roars. A great family day out including entertainment, food and fun.

May 27
The Chrome Bar Bonanza at Lakeside Park is open to all vehicles originally built with chrome bars. It doesn't matter if they have been removed or painted over. With over three hours of cruising throughout the day, Show n' Shine, 1/8th mile drags and kids entertainment it's a great day out Spectators and show n shine entrants $10. All vehicles need to be clean and presentable. If you have a chrome bar classic be sure to bring it along for a great family day out at Lakeside Park.

This year Macleans Bridge will be held at Queensland Rifle Association Belmont Range. Entry fee $15 includes display car, driver plus all passengers. Visitors including parking $10 per vehicle, includes all passengers. Food and drinks available for puchase on the day. The Brisbane Swap Meet is being held at Carina State School and is hosted by the Queensland Vintage Vehicle Association Inc. Gates open at 6.30am for sellers and 7am for buyers. Admission $5 adults, $10 per swap site which includes a driver. Off street parking available. Please no vehicles over 4 tonnes. All sites to be vacated by 2pm. No dogs allowed.

Dance to the rockin’ sounds of ‘the Dirty Dukes, Old 45’s, Billy Guy and the rocking Bodgies. Five days of cruising the Sunshine Coast and the nearby Hinterland, show ‘n’ shine, driving events, dining, dancing, street parties, trophy’s, a Mega Car Show in downtown Caloundra and Esplanade of Queensland’s beautiful town of Caloundra. Over the past seven years, Cooly Rocks On has evolved to become Australia’s largest rock’n’roll and nostalgia festival and a signature event on Queensland and Australia’s event calendar. There are some exciting changes in the works for Cooly Rocks On 2018.Everyone’s favourite events will be back including the Poodle Parade, Retro Markets, Dance Championships, Miss Cooly Rocks On and the signature Street Parade. Car cruises and Show ‘n Shines will continue to be the highlight of the weekend’s activities, and will occur across the Saturday and Sunday. So get your cars, dancing shoes and best outfits ready for what will be the best Cooly Rocks On yet.

In it's 40th Year, the Charters Towers Motor Show & Swap Meet is a must-do on the North Queensland Car Scene. Two days (Saturday and Sunday) of static car displays and driving events, as well as the Swap Meet and market stalls. Friday night will kick off with a Meet N Greet with Friday itself a set-up day and live bands and licensed bar till midnight.
